Compliance Detection Lead Location: Fort Knox, Kentucky Seeking a Compliance Detection Lead with experience gathering data on information systems and device configurations, which is used for system identification, maintenance, cyber threat assessment and investigation, vulnerability detection, or system exploits and that understands DoD and Army Cybersecurity policies in support of U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) at Fort Knox, Kentucky. This position is contingent upon contract award. Job Responsibilities:
• Provide timely, accurate, and efficient Cybersecurity services in support of G-6 Cybersecurity offices' mission
• Ensure IT devices and networks are compliant utilizing Army Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) Program
• Maintain security documentation, evidence of compliance, performing audits/assessments, interfacing with client and/or Government personnel, participating in working groups, and maintaining a thorough understanding of NIST SP 800-171 compliance
• Develop and maintain Cybersecurity control artifacts central file repositories (i.e, SharePoint) to maintain internal working papers and trackers
• Provide accurate risk assessment data
• Analyze and resolve problems
• Provide recommendations for balancing meeting policy requirements
• Maintain excellent working relationships with end-users and every information technology (IT) team within HRC
• Effectively communicate and demonstrate success leading G6 IT staff through Assessment and compliance efforts for HRC networks and systems
• Pass Cybersecurity inspections
• Aid in the production of qualitative and narrative reports aggregating or summarizing risk assessment results; assist in the design of report templates that maintain accurate and thoughtful reporting Required Skills:
• Thorough understanding of NIST SP 800-171 compliance
• Ability to ensure IT devices and networks are compliant utilizing Army Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) Program
• Experience providing accurate risk assessment data
• Ability to identify and implement technical and procedural improvements to the efficiency and quality of best practice processes
• Contractor may be required to travel during the performance of this contract to attend meetings, support conferences, attend workshops, and to provide and receive training
• Must be 8570 compliant
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have Active DoD Secret Clearance Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of ten (10) years of Cybersecurity experience
• Five (5) years of experience working with and understanding of DISA information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) announcement of a computer, application, software, or operating system vulnerability
