Large international law firm with a significant presence in Chicago seeks a Compensation Manager.

This position, reporting to the Senior Manager of Analytics and Compensation, involves analyzing and monitoring employee compensation and performing various analytics, including diversity metrics.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Administer the annual salary review process and bonus calculations for the Firm, including non-US offices.
Manage compensation survey participation and maintain vendor relationships.
Generate ad hoc compensation and diversity reports using the PeopleSoft Human Resources system.
Monitor and document compensation programs, including online market data.
Reconcile compensation information between the Firm's payroll systems and PeopleSoft Human Resources system.
Create compensation budget reports.
Conduct analysis for special compensation and analytics-related projects.
Propose and implement innovative business solutions and improvements related to compensation.
Manage and execute special projects, including the design, management, and implementation of compensation initiatives.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Ability to analyze technical solutions and provide sound conclusions on various insurance, accounting, and financial issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:

Four years of experience in Human Resources, compensation, or a related area.
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification from the World at Work organization.
