Department Overview Under general supervision, this position coordinates all data entry for the Melanoma Program and assists with outreach efforts to Oregon high schools. May provide other general support for the research project or program. Additional duties as assigned. OHSU Dermatology is located in the Center for Health & Healing on the South Waterfront in Portland, Oregon. The Department of Dermatology is dedicated to providing our patients the best and most innovative dermatologic care for the broad range of skin, hair, nail, and mucous membrane disorders. The duration of this appointment and indicated salary may be changed or eliminated if a gift, grant, or contract fund supporting this position becomes unavailable. Function/Duties of Position Data entry for Melanoma Program patient data. Meets target goals for number of patients entered per week, set with manager at the beginning of each month. Phone calls and coordination of mailing packets to Oregon high schools. Meets target goals for number of schools contacted, set with manager at the beginning of the month. Mails supplies for all requesting schools within 3-5 business days. Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor. Required Qualifications Bachelor's in relevant field OR Associates AND 3 years of relevant experience OR 4 years of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of training and experience. Demonstrated communication skills, verbal and written, experience with research protocols or laboratory procedures, medical terminology proficiency to understand melanoma patient chart notes and data fields.
