Posted Job Title COMMUNITY RESEARCH ASSOCIATE Job Profile Title Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt Job Description Summary Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt Job Description This community research associate position is to support a community-based research study to understand social and biological factors influencing COVID severity and vaccine response in the greater Philadelphia region. The position involves assisting in the advertising, recruiting, scheduling, explaining the research study to potential study participants, and following up with research participants. They will also assist with data collection, entry, and analysis. The best candidate will have public health or other types of community engagement experience with understanding of basic biology terminology. The candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills. They will report directly to the project manager. This is a temporary position that requires up to 20 hours per week of work. High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate degree preferred with 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding the English language. Ability to manage multiple community projects simultaneously, schedule and track follow-up screenings. Must have strong organizational skills, able to work independently and effectively to meet deadlines Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $7.25 - $21.00 Hourly Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
