We are seeking a dedicated Community Research Associate to join our team, specializing in facilitating research projects with high school teachers and their students. The ideal candidate will guide educators in developing, implementing, and analyzing community research initiatives. This role demands proficiency in analysis, pedagogy, and effective communication to foster strong partnerships and facilitate research endeavors. Area: North-eastern regions of WV, counties of Jefferson, Morgan, Berkeley, Ohio, Marshall, Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Preston, Tucker, Taylor, Barbour, Webster, Braxton, Roane, Calhoun, Greenbrier, Fayette If you are passionate about fostering research initiatives within high school communities and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply. Join us in making a meaningful impact through education and community engagement. Master's degree in education Curriculum, STEM, Public Health, or related field. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a university, governmental, or service-oriented non-profit organization. Experience in developing comprehensive research and data collection systems. Knowledge of State, Board of Trustees, university, and Health Sciences Technology Academy policies preferred. Proficiency in information gathering, data collection, and report writing. Demonstrated expertise in policy and procedure development. Prior experience in curriculum development, grant writing, and project management. Familiarity with professional, staff, and student training methodologies. Ability to deliver compelling oral and written reports at state and national levels. Proven ability to establish and maintain strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, especially in controversial situations. Proficiency in prioritizing responsibilities and initiating work independently. Strong analytical skills to research information and derive valid conclusions. Experience in grant writing, oversight, and protocol development. Ability to lead large group events and provide effective training. Familiarity with institutional policies, procedures, and IRB protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, REDCap Software, and curriculum development. Willingness to travel across state and national borders. Requirements: Valid US driver's license.
