Communications Strategist Secret Clearance with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Communications Strategist to join the development team on a classified government program based in Clinton, MD. The role is fully onsite and requires an active Secret clearance Responsibilities of the Communications Strategist: Create speeches for senior leadership.
Develop presentations, articles, ghostwrite emails and statements, while overseeing the creation of reports such as the annual historical report, and write bullet background papers, talking points, and slick sheets.
Keep the organization's Communications Strategy, updating annually or as needed.
Review content written by other team members and provide editorial feedback on content and grammar. Maintain a Content and Event calendar that goes out once a year with updates made weekly. Contribute to high-profile meetings and analysis of organizational communication. Ensure the compliance of customer standards and that contractual deliverables are assigned are reviewed for completeness and are completed on time. Qualifications of the Communications Strategist: 7+ years of practical experience in the field of communications. 4+ years of experience writing speeches, preferably for senior ranking officials.
Experience in SharePoint or similar information-sharing platforms.
Experience with Tongue and Quill guidelines and the Chicago Manual of Style.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or a related field.

Compensation for the Communications Strategist: Salary: $100-110,000/year based on years of experience and not flexible about $110,000)
