The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team is accountable for technology selection, blueprints, and roadmaps to enable business objectives. We partner across Digital to accelerate high-impact projects, products, and platforms and make the connections across the enterprise to drive scale and re-use. This group of approximately 25-30 people works to ensure that the IT systems align with the business goals and objectives, and that they are scalable, flexible, and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the organization.

The team is currently undergoing a transformation to better align with the organization's goals and objectives. This transformation involves a shift towards a more agile and collaborative approach, with a focus on integration across domains, delivering value and better communicating the measurable benefits and value the group provides. The group is working to improve communication and collaboration within the team, across Digital and other stakeholders. This function is critical to ensure our story is told.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts to standardize content presentation across platforms/products, ensuring the right mediums are used for each audience.
  • Define, maintain, and execute a communications plan to include the key messages, target audience, channel and frequency to engage the EA team and our stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical information about applications/platforms through the creation and management of engaging content.
  • Develop an understanding of the platforms/products and the business environment in which they are used.
  • Manage content creation, providing expertise and guidance to the team, reviewing and quality assuring content, as well as writing content.
  • Develop a framework to keep content maintained, current, and easily accessible.
  • Create diagrams, illustrations, and other visual aids to enhance the clarity of technical documents.
  • Assess technical documentation needs for stakeholders, identifying key documentation deliverables such as manuals, guides, FAQs, etc.
  • Collaborate with various team members to develop key documentation deliverables per the communications plan.
  • Gather usability feedback from stakeholders, advise on areas where assets can be made more intuitive to use.
  • Create compelling and tailored internal materials, including presentations, infographics, animated simulations, and data visualization for reports and presentations.
  • Ensure all internal materials align with the company's brand guidelines and maintain consistency in EA's visual identity across channels.
Skills:
  • Proficient writing and editing skills to create clear and accurate communications assets with a focus on compelling success stories that articulate measurable value - e.g., cost savings, cost avoidance using our services and/or speed to value due to reuse of EA patterns or platforms.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and projects, translating complex information into digestible and compelling visual stories.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency of content and documentation.
  • Oral and written communication skills with the ability to breakdown complex concepts into logical parts and establish relationships with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to share design rationale and insights with team members to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Expert in MS Office365 suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, After Effects, Premier) to develop materials.
  • Proficiency in use of SharePoint as a publication platform a big plus
