Here, you'll grow your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports national defense and security priorities, as well as the technological advancement of analytical capabilities. As a communications specialist on our team, you'll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will build and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to create new and maintain existing client mission partnerships, coordinate internal best practices for communications, and foster a community of information sharing and transparency. As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you'll create newsletters, website content, briefs, talking points, executive summaries, and marketing materials. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools like MS PowerPoint, Strapi, and Jira. You Have: 2+ years of experience in a professional work environment 2+ years of experience with developing, editing, and formatting final written communications documentation and deliverables Experience with the complete Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Experience with the DoD community Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: 1+ year of experience in working directly with senior leaders 1+ year of experience with change management 1+ year of experience supporting an Agile website development team 1+ year of experience with a website content management system like WordPress or Strapi 1+ year of experience with Jira Possession of excellent analysis and data gathering skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
