Responsibilities Support our client's Executive Office of Acquisition with communication capabilities including: Production of recurring newsletters and email messages, photos, awards and programs that highlight the level of professionalism and dedication of our client's workforce. Writing, tech editing, proofing support for client print and digital materials Planning and executing high-profile client events and meetings, including but not limited to Office-wide conferences, all hands and other gatherings. Planning, executing, and documenting key processes and procedures Seeking out, coordinating, and ingesting information from multiple relevant sources, and organizing for optimum use; identifying and making information accessible by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events. Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, and preserving information in written or electronic/magnetic form. Maintaining appropriate records, computer databases, and written documents related to the organization and those being supported by the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3-10 years' experience supporting communications, preferably at the management/Executive level Proven writing and editing skills; writing samples preferred Experience developing print and digital content for a variety of audiences Experience with communication strategy planning and leadership messaging Experience collaborating with and supporting diverse stakeholders and team members in a fast-paced and complex office environment often characterized by competing priorities Strong organizational skills (time management, task tracking, analytical thinking and attention to detail) Working knowledge of remote/virtual meeting environments such as Zoom, and Microsoft Teams Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with computers systems such as the MS Office suite of products to set up functions, enter data, or process information. Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.
