Support the Sr. Director of Internal Communications with a variety of needs, from meeting support to event planning, drafting communications, managing urgent comms needs, and more.
Support the Sr. Director of Corporate Communications with a variety of needs including content creation for a variety of internal and external audiences, global meeting attendance as necessary and editorial calendar management.
Provide support for a full range of employee communications
o Plan/create/edit/proof/ distribute internal announcements on every topic imaginable, from corporate events, to program updates or rollouts, to organization changes, location-based communications, or announcements on a wide variety of topics
o As needed, lay out in YessPress or prepare for Outlook distribution
o Manage the review cycle and track which documents are in the queue and need to be moved along
o Distribute as needed
o Save/organize the archived messages
Support town hall meetings, which are held virtually and in person. This may involve
o Creating a preroll with music
o Managing invites in Outlook; conducting/tracking survey results
o Presentation support, editing, driving on meeting days
o Reviewing videos, recommending changes/edits, testing operability
o Proofreading
o Updating comms slides including the Service Anniversary recognition slide, updated once per quarter.
o Meeting testing/dry runs prior to meeting date
Manage Ultrasound employee distribution lists
o Periodically review distribution lists with stakeholders to ensure these capture correct names;
o Help manage the manual process, particularly for Excel distribution lists.
o Be sure the correct lists are clearly marked and in the folder for shared use within Ultrasound comms
Support ongoing updates for Sharepoint intranet site, Viva Engage, and other as needed
Tracking Ultrasound posts on Viva and Linked In that can be repurposed internally
Develop and support Ultrasound Comms Teams site which (will be) accessible to all employees as a repository of information
Plan, collect content, edit, lay out, manage review cycle for Inside Ultrasound quarterly newsletter
Support the product marketing teams when there are global distributions for Product and Services Updates
As time allows, support other business leaders with specific communications goals

Ultrasound Internal and Corporate Communications Specialist

Requirements:4-year degree in Communications or Marketing. 2-4 years practical experience applying concepts of communications in a professional setting. Experience with communications in the medtech sector or for a large global organization a plus.

Well suited candidates will:
Have 2-4 years experience creating internal and corporate communications in a large corporate setting
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills
Be able to multitask, stay organized and on deadline
Use discretion with sensitive topics
Exercise professional judgment and problem-solving
Have experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 platforms.
Experience with internal and corporate event planning a plus.
Be a reliable and fun team player
Be prepared to work in office at least three full days per week; flexibility is a must.
Travel as needed to other office locations to support communications needs
