We are seeking an experienced Permanent Commissioning Manager for our Data Center Construction team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in MEP, electrical power management systems, and mission-critical environments, with a keen focus on quality control. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our data center projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the data center commissioning process, ensuring that all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner or final client.

2. Develop and implement commissioning plans, ensuring these are in line with project specifications.

3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

4. Conduct regular inspections of systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and prevent malfunctions.

5. Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements.

6. Prepare and present detailed commissioning reports to project stakeholders.

7. Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects.

8. Implement and manage quality control processes.

9. Provide technical guidance and training to team members and stakeholders as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically in data center construction.

3. In-depth knowledge of MEP, electrical power management systems, and mission-critical environments.

4. Proven experience in managing all aspects of the commissioning process.

5. Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards.

6. Excellent project management and leadership skills.

7. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.

9. Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD and project management software.

10. Professional certification in commissioning or a related field would be an advantage.
