Commissioning Agent Job ID 161108 Posted 28-Mar-2024 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Engineering/Maintenance Location(s) Dallas - Texas - United States of America About the role We at the CBRE Commissioning team are seeking a person to support clients in the Dallas area. The candidate will need to be in the greater Dallas area. The Commissioning Agent will implement the commissioning process for building systems such as HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Controls, and Low Voltage. Reviews designs, submittals, and O&Ms. Write custom checklists and detailed testing procedures. What you'll do + Review, develop, and collates construction project related reports and result documentation for review and approval. + Perform on-site inspection, testing, validation, and verification of building system for small projects. + Review construction related design documents, drawings, and specifications for approval. + Plan, chairs, and documents all project commissioning meetings. + Verify design documents, equipment submittals and measured performance are consistent with the specifications and client's operation requirements. + Perform onsite observations relating to installation of building systems; prepares associated documentation for approval. + On smaller projects, direct onsite system testing and monitoring of systems. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant business science, plus appropriate continuing education or 5 years commissioning experience; or 7+ yeas specific construction trade experience. + LEED AP, BCA ACP, OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Additional Skills Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to respond to critical issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on topics to employees, clients and/or public groups. Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
