Commercial Waterproofing/Roofing Installers

Job Summary We are seeking qualified employees well-versed in waterproofing systems including: membranes, liquid-applied, hot-rubberized asphalt (HRA), cementitious, cold/hot applied asphalt or polyurethane materials. The purpose is to build a waterproofing crew to work collaboratively with our roofing department and cross-train employees in both roofing and waterproofing applications. Applicants must be willing to learn commercial roofing applications and collaboratively participate in the "start-up" of our waterproofing department. Opportunities for career advancement A Day in the Life Hybrid position- install commercial flat-roofing and waterproofing systems Install membrane, insulation, wrap pipes, and other roofing components Install membrane, liquid-applied, hot-rubberized asphalt (HRA) Use various hand/power tools, and job site equipment Hand weld and ensure roof is completely waterproof Follow safety procedures and instructions at all times Set up fall restraint equipment and wear PPE Travel to jobsites in the Salt Lake area and sometimes out of town Assist in the shop or in other departments as needed We Are Seeking 2+ years experience working in flat-roofing and/or waterproofing roofs is required (TPO, PVC, EPDM) Able to produce good quality work- hand weld, install insulation, pipe boots, etc. Can read blueprints/taper plans is a plus Experience using fall protection and tie-off systems Bilingual/Spanish is a plus Has reliable transportation/own motor vehicle Can pass a drug test Able to work on federally protected job sites- airports, prisons, etc. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US- no sponsorships provided for international applicants 04/25/2024
