Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Lines Team Lead to join our fast-paced insurance company. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our company's growth and success. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Commercial Lines professionals, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Commercial Lines professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship as needed.
- Oversee daily operations of the Commercial Lines department, ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Commercial Lines department.
- Work closely with other department leaders to ensure that all operations align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Handle complex Commercial Lines accounts, providing expert advice and guidance to clients as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and ensure that the team is trained and knowledgeable about these changes.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, and work to resolve these in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines is required.
- Previous leadership or management experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines operations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues and make sound decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is a plus.
- A relevant professional qualification, such as a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, is preferred.
