General Description:
The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for the servicing of a group of customers through relationship building, products, services, and information to achieve sales and profit objectives for the business as well as the Commercial Sales Representative.
Duties Include:
Create awareness and demand for the company's products and services.
Establishing and maintaining Outside Sales Routes
Identify opportunities, effectively communicating features and benefits of solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
Maintain communications with internal personnel to ensure efforts are in line with objectives.
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, leads from existing customers, participation in organizations/clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Maintain quote documentation and Pricing Structures relative to specific customers.
Monitor market conditions, product and service innovations, as well as competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Negotiate details of contracts and payments.
Post-Sales follow up ensure all customers' expectations are met or exceeded, providing remedies when not.
Servicing of Account from quoting, to delivery, to billing, to managing of Account's Receivables
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Sales Requirements:
Customer-centric service philosophy
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent Outside Sales Experience.
Knowledge of various relationship sales techniques.
Ability to build and maintain relationships.
Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment for proper servicing of our business and customers' needs.
Proficient Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
Able to perform physically demanding tasks.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
Occasional squatting, bending, and twisting.
Standing for extended periods of time.
Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season.
Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception).
Sense of sound (Ringing telephones, alarms, horns, and motorized equipment).
PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, footwear).
