Commercial Roofing Foreman
Location: Plymouth, IN and surrounding cities

Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:
- Examine and inspect work progress daily, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
- Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.
- Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
- Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
- Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
- Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
- Coordinate with Commercial Division Manager and or inside support (Job Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
- Order or requisition materials, tools, or supplies.
- Provides weekly progress reports to project supervisor for billing and schedule purposes.
- Assists with site changes and facilitates change orders prior to work being performed.
- Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- May require working in all-weather elements (heat, cold, rain, snow) depending on job location and/or time of year.
- Two years of installation experience.
- Experience in Commercial Roofing Installation, and basic general construction knowledge.
- An outgoing, friendly personality.
- Is reliable, self-sufficient, and motivated.
- An ability to multi-task.
- Is neat, organized, and detailed oriented.
- An ability to provide and take clear instruction and guidance.
- Is a positive role model, and an ambassador to the community on behalf of our company.
- Takes pride in their work.
- Ability to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required with little or on short notice.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Ability to independently lift work loads of 50lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders of all types.
- Possess good vision/hearing (normal or corrected).
- Ability to work while constantly moving on one's feet.
- Ability to reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance.
- Ability to use both hands simultaneously for tying knots and for proper use of power equipment.
