We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the full spectrum of our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role requires a deep understanding of construction management, design-build, commercial construction, scheduling, safety management, blueprint reading, and subcontractor management.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Developing detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
3. Managing and coordinating with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
4. Ensuring safety policies and procedures are strictly followed at all times.
5. Reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure project accuracy and integrity.
6. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.
7. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
8. Resolving any issues or delays that may affect the timeline, budget, or client satisfaction.
9. Preparing and submitting progress reports to stakeholders, providing clear and concise details about the project's progress.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
3. Proven experience in construction management, design build, commercial construction, scheduling, safety management, blueprint reading, and subcontractor management.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
5. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proficient in using construction management software and other industry-related software.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
9. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
10. Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on quality and safety.
