Job Title: Commercial Plumber

Employer: Boxman Studios

Reports to: Production Manager

Summary:

Install pipes that supply water and gas to our modular units, as well as carry waste away. You will also be responsible for installing plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and appliances, including dishwashers and hot water heaters.

Job Description:

Study and analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.

Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes and tubes without interfering with existing infrastructure.

Assemble valves, fittings, tubes, and water system appliances.

Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties

Maintains work area (kept clean and organized).

Follows instructions on correct assembly of building components

Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns

Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed

Maintains a good attendance record as it is critical for success

Demonstrates a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools

Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment

Able to work 8+ hours on your feet

Must be able to safely manage repetitive use of ladders and stairs

Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment daily

Ability to be trained and take direction respectfully

Ability to work in a team with others

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Qualifications:

Highschool or equivalent.

Eligible to work in the USA

(3) years experience in plumbing field.

Strong understand of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to crouch, bend, and work overhead for extended periods of time.
