Job Details

As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts for our clients. Your primary focus will be on maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying their insurance needs, and providing them with tailored insurance solutions. You will also be tasked with expanding our client base by prospecting for new business opportunities.

Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all insurance-related matters. Understand their businesses, anticipate their insurance needs, and provide proactive solutions.
Insurance Advisory: Assess clients' risk exposures and insurance requirements. Provide expert advice on suitable insurance products and coverage options to mitigate risks and protect their assets.

Policy Administration: Oversee the entire insurance process, from policy inception to renewal. Ensure accuracy and completeness of policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates of insurance. Coordinate with internal teams and insurance carriers to expedite policy issuance and endorsements.

Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients' businesses. Analyze insurance policy terms and conditions to ensure alignment with clients' risk management objectives.

Market Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting commercial insurance. Monitor market conditions and insurance products to offer competitive solutions to clients.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies. Keep abreast of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to commercial insurance practices.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and handling claims efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field a plus.
Three + years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage or agency environment.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of client relationship management and business development.
Ability to analyze complex insurance needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty) needed.
