Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for our St. Petersburg, FL office.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated insurance professional who can provide exceptional service to our commercial clients, while enjoying a collaborative culture and excellent work/life balance. This individual will manage all aspects of servicing a robust book of middle market commercial P&C business, which includes churches, social services, contractors, HOAs/condos, retail and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of processing and renewal of policies, endorsements, and rating and quoting of new and renewal business. Must also possess excellent customer service skills to answer policy and coverage related questions. Other duties include checking accuracy of policies, processing endorsements, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of correspondence, applications, quotes and marketing information in accordance with company workflows and procedures, and preparing proposals and issuing certificates of insurance, as needed.

Required Experience:

At least 3 years independent agency experience preferred
Agency management system experience required; Epic experience preferred
Must have a current FL 2-20 P&C license
Professional designations, such as CIC desired, but not required
