Job Title: Industrial Electrician (Conveyor Installation)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician with expertise in conveyor installation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components associated with conveyor systems in industrial settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of our clients' operations.

Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and systems related to conveyor equipment, including motors, sensors, PLCs, and control panels.

Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and cable routing according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful installation and integration of conveyor systems.

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance of conveyor systems.

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation of conveyor equipment.

Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while working on electrical installations and repairs.

Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and operators on conveyor system operation and maintenance procedures.

Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance activities conducted on conveyor systems.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred.

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, with specific experience in conveyor installation and maintenance.

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Strong understanding of electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and power distribution systems.

Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems.

Familiarity with conveyor equipment manufacturers' specifications and installation guidelines.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose electrical issues accurately.

Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA and other regulatory standards.

Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to client sites as needed.
