Location: Greer, SC 29651
Job Summary: Diagnoses, repairs and performs preventative maintenance and repair services on Commercial air conditioning equipment and systems. This position is nonexempt and may require overtime depending on business requirements.
Specific Duties/Expectations:
- Experience with Boilers/Chillers are a plus.
- Diagnose HVAC system performance through observation, testing and setup
- Disassemble and reassemble commercial equipment to perform trouble shooting and preventative maintenance
- Complete documents to verify work performed
- Explain service charges and work performed to the customer
- Advise Service Manager of Service Dispatcher at such time as the assigned project begins to fall behind average repair times
- Work with Service Manager, General Manager and Service Dispatcher on ideas for reducing the cost of service
- Work safely at all times
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent: diploma from a recognized trade or technical school or equivalent comprised of 2-5 years Commercial service experience and training
- Diagnostic ability as demonstrated through prior experience and or training
- Ability to safely operate a company motor vehicle as evidenced by past driving performance record and to adhere to all company safety requirements
- Dress professional and maintain an appropriate image as outlined in the company policy. Make sure that customers are satisfied with services rendered before leaving site
- Work to improve technical skills
Compensation details: 20-27 Hourly Wage
