Job Title: Business Development Associate - Commercial Drywall

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate with a focus on the commercial drywall industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of our commercial drywall division.

Responsibilities:

1. Market Research:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in the commercial drywall sector.

- Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to stay ahead of industry developments.

2. Lead Generation:

- Develop and implement effective strategies to generate leads and expand the client base within the commercial drywall market.

- Utilize networking, industry events, and online platforms to identify and connect with potential clients.

3. Client Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to address their commercial drywall requirements.

4. Proposal Development:

- Prepare compelling and customized proposals in response to client inquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs) in the commercial drywall sector.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with company capabilities and standards.

5. Sales Presentations:

- Conduct engaging presentations to showcase the company's expertise, services, and capabilities in commercial drywall construction.

- Effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.

6. Contract Negotiation:

- Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and clients.

- Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.

7. Pipeline Management:

- Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and the status of ongoing projects.

- Provide regular updates on progress to the management team.

8. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal teams, including project management, estimating, and operations, to ensure seamless project transitions and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the commercial construction or drywall industry.

- Strong understanding of commercial drywall construction processes, materials, and industry standards.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
