The Collection Representative Collections Rep is responsible for locating and contacting customers who are delinquent, obtaining past due payments and establishing future repayment plans while complying with all applicable FDCPA, Federal and State laws. The Collection Representative is expected to meet delinquency, repossession and loss mitigation goals as established by Management through the use of negotiation skills and available tools.
Qualifications:
Education: High School or GED
Experience: 1-2 years previous Collections, or equivalent high-volume contact and call center customer support experience. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both in person and over the telephone. Automotive Finance/Lending experience would be considered and Auto Finance Collections is preferred. Must have knowledge of FDCPA and all collection laws and state regulations pertaining to the servicing of delinquent loans. Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
