Collaboration Engineer

Kavaliro's client is seeking a remote, Secret Cleared Collaboration Engineer based out of Orlando, FL.

Candidates must be located in greater Orlando, FL area
Regular travel is expected around central FL

Qualifications
The Collaboration Engineer must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of UC hardware and software for CISCO Voice Systems in providing high-level support and technical expertise in unified capabilities
Experience required in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity
Connection (CUC), Cisco Emergency Responder (CER), Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) and Cisco Meeting Server (CMS)
Requires the ability of working with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on unified capabilities implementation, optimization, maintenance, and ongoing management
Certification Requirements: CCNP Collaboration and at least five years working as a UC Engineer or equivalent
8+ years of experience
BA/BS or equivalent
IAT level II Compliant certification (i.e
Security+ CE, SSCP etc)
Prefer a Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI level access
Must have clearance (and relevant certifications) prior to start in role
Must be able to obtain TS/SCI eventually
Responsibilities
Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
May have to work afterhours/weekends to resolve issues and/or support exercises
