Espresso Service Technician Field Service Technician Coffee & Espresso

Experience Required: Employer is looking for a minimum of 6 months of Maintenance, HVAC, Commercial Kitchen, Commercial Coffee Equipment or Refrigeration related technical experience. HVAC/Technical school experience counts here.

Experience repairing coffee and espresso equipment

Technician Pay: $20-27/hr ($40,000-$56,000/year) + Potential Bonus Dependent on Market

Schedule: Exact hours differ by market, 7:00am-4:00pm is typical. Rotational on-call every 3-4 weeks. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary, depending on a candidate's market.

Locations: The company will consider candidates within 40 miles of a given market.

Technician Duties:

Demonstrate your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and ability to read diagrams and schematics.

Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Espresso Equipment, including Coffee Brewers, Coffee Grinders, and other specialty coffee equipment.

Communicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnoses and parts identification.

Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for technical support while onsite.

Install all parts ordered for the customer in a timely and professional manner and in line with company policy.

Promote and recommend other services provided by the company to customers when needed.

Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory.

Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.

Maintain a neat and orderly service vehicle, along with accurate parts and tool inventory.

Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards.
