Job Summary Job Summary Some background in coaching is desirable. Ability to achieve the confidence and respect of students, make decision and judgments. One or more years of paid or volunteer experience providing leadership in organized youth activities/sports. Knowledge of care and prevention of athletic injuries, coaching techniques, rules and regulations of activities, and adolescent psychology. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, grasp, and reach. May be required to stand for prolonged periods on hard surfaces and work outdoors in weather of varying temperatures and conditions. Possession of a valid California driver's license, First Aid and CPR certification, and Completion Certificate for Concussion in Sports. Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / Qualifications Must have completed California Interscholastic Federation Coaching Certification Process and verification of NFHS Concussion in Sports Course. Possession of a valid California driver's license, First Aid and CPR certification are required. Comments and Other Information The District is located in the rural Southeastern mountain area of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of San Diego.
