RN - Health Informatics Specialist -ONSITE
Work where others vacation on a 12-week assignment in beautiful Salida, CO
40 hours/ week : No call and no weekends.
CPSI - APRIMA - T-SYSTEM EXPEREINCE PREFERRED
Compact or CO RN License Required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES PER AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Ensure clinical needs are evaluated and validated when implementation plans are developed by collecting input from end users.
2. Be knowledgeable of the operation of the suite of clinical applications as new ones are installed and existing ones are upgraded.
3. Assess the implications on clinical operations and processes of patient care delivery when assisting in resolution of clinical issues.
4. Coordinate and participate in QA of the application functions.
5. Utilize all applications expertly.
6. Provides integration consultation and recommendations to the IS department for EHR systems deployment on the clinical units and medical staff.
7. Proactively resolves EHR documentation issues or concerns affecting patient care.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of an Associate s Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program, BSN strongly preferred.
Minimum of three years experience in acute care/information technology preferred.
