Job Details

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will interpret technical drawings, perform machine setups, monitor machining processes, and ensure that all finished products meet quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Machine Setup: Prepare CNC machines for operation by selecting appropriate tooling, securing workpieces, and configuring machine settings.
2. Operation: Operate CNC machinery to perform machining tasks such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding.
3. Quality Assurance: Inspect machined parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
4. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with CNC machines, tooling, or processes to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Requirements
1. Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and operating precision measuring instruments.
3. Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and accuracy to produce high-quality machined parts.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address issues with CNC machinery and processes.
5. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
6. Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals.

Education and Certification:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Vocational training or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
3. Additional certifications or coursework in machining, tooling, or related fields are a plus.
