Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10 pm - 6 am
Pay Rate: $35.21/hour + $1.35/hour shift differential

Set-up, operate and troubleshoot one or more CNC/ASM milling and/or turning machines simultaneously with other auxiliary machines. Perform diversified work when setting up and operating tape operated machines. Works with Engineering Personnel on trial run and special parts doing any type of job with or without Methods Layouts, working from prints and Engineering sketches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up, operate and troubleshoot a variety of CNC/ASM machines which perform a variety of operations such as, but not limited to; boring, reaming, turning, milling, drilling, tapping, etc.
  • Performs specified quality checks on piece parts, trial run and experimental parts using a variety of standard and special measuring devices to maintain quality of parts produced.
  • Performs set-up teardown work as directed by Group Leader or Supervisor.
  • Assists in analyzing and planning workload for group operations, and follows up on instructions, performance, and quality.
  • Assists Group Leader in maintaining supply levels, ordering new supplies and tools as required, and completes necessary shop orders and shop records.
  • Primary Equipment
    • CNC/ASM Milling machines
    • CNC/ASM Turning machines
    • Related machine Tooling; ie cutters, drills, boring bars, etc.
    • Anorad machines
    • Drills, tappers, mills, turning, etc.
    • Precision measuring instruments.
  • Provides training and instruction for operators on CNC/ASM machines.
  • Works with Engineering, Production Control and Programmers on trial processes and/or experimental tooling. Refers trouble or problems to Group Leader and/or Supervisor.
  • Works with support groups such as Stores, Maintenance and Quality to get tooling, gaging, timely machine repair and required inspection.
  • Embrace and engage in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including activities, but not limited to Safety & Behavioral Observation Process (BOP), 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Tiered Accountability Process, Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving (RPS), Built In Quality (BIQ), Coaching, Total productive Maintenance (TPM) and Knowledge Sharing.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience
  • Must have good communication skills, possess good organizational skills, ability to plan, knowledge of policies and procedures, possess good analytical skills.
