Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Machinist/Programmer in the Houston, Texas area. This is a direct hire, 1st shift position with a starting pay of $29-35 per hour, depending upon experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot machine failures / coordinate with maintenance on fixes
Upload and editing of programs for production runs
Assist / train operators on machine operations
Interpretation of blueprints / schematics for machine setups
Program verifications before uploads and production runs
Tooling setup & training for new products
Assist engineering w/process improvements (product or equipment)
Education & Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing / machine shop type environment
2 year technical degree highly preferred
Experience with CNC equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
Ability to upload, edit/program equipment (writing programs from scratch is a bonus)
Gibs-Cam experience is preferred
High attention to detail
