Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
2. Utilize MasterCAM software to create and modify CNC programs.
3. Select and install appropriate tools and materials for machining processes.
4. Perform cutting, milling, and other machining operations using various types of mills.
5. Monitor the operation of CNC machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate production.
6. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their optimal operation.
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement machining strategies.
8. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
9. Perform quality control checks on machined parts, using precision measuring tools.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and programs.
11. Keep accurate records of machine operation and maintenance activities.
12. Stay current with the latest CNC technology and machining techniques.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer in the engineering industry.
2. Proficiency in MasterCAM software and other CNC programming tools.
3. Extensive experience in cutting, milling, and other machining operations.
4. Strong knowledge of different types of mills and their operation.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.
7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a machining environment.
11. High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
12. Certification in CNC programming or operation is a plus.
