Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design and write precise CNC programs to manufacture parts on 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines using G Code and Mastercam.
  • Modify existing CNC programs as required, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Use 3D CAD/CAM software to create models and drawings of products.
  • Use micrometers, lathes, mills, and other precision tools to measure and inspect parts, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing team to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Maintain and update CNC machine programs and related documentation.
  • Ensure all CNC machinery is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CNC programming techniques and industry best practices.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior CNC programmers and operators as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer.
  • Proficiency in G Code, 5 Axis, Mastercam, and 3D CAD/CAM software.
  • Experience with micrometers, lathes, mills, and other precision tools.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machine programming and metalworking processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to CNC programming and operation.
