Responsibilities:

As a CNC Programmer, you will be the driving force behind our manufacturing excellence. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring machinists have all necessary resources and information for successful part manufacturing.
  • Crafting and updating CNC programs and tool paths to meet print requirements.
  • Solving CNC machine issues with your troubleshooting expertise.
  • Offering technical support to our skilled machinists.
  • Collaborating daily with Quality, Manufacturing, and Quoting Departments.
  • Masterfully reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
  • Analyzing drawings to make decisions on dimensions, cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates.
  • Maintaining our invaluable tooling database.
  • Conducting quality control tests throughout manufacturing processes.
  • Efficiently planning material use based on production schedules.
  • Strictly adhering to operating procedures, instructions, and safety rules.
  • Building strong working relationships and effective communication with team members.
  • Identifying and promptly reporting any quality concerns to operators, line leads, or supervision.
  • Embracing flexibility by taking on additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a technical or associate degree program is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills.
  • Familiarity with GibbsCAM preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Geometry.
  • Previous experience as a CNC programmer.
  • Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
  • CAD experience is a bonus.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
