As the CNC Operator you would be responsible for setting up and operating Mills or Lathes, and working from prints to obtain accurate specifications in dimensions and tolerances.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Setup and operation of CNC Mills or Lathes, as well as operation of other shop equipment.
- Able to use all shop measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, and other gages).
- Able to make offsets and adjustments to CNC Mills and Lathes.
- Able to work from blueprints, sketches, or models.
- Perform program edits as needed.
- Tool changes.
- Working on Brother and Haas 3-axis Mills, Mori Seiki and Doosan 2-axis Lathes, and Brown and Sharpe Screw Machines.
- Manufacturing parts from copper, brass, stainless steel, steel, aluminum, plastics, and other materials.
Pay and Shift info - Starting pay range of $18 - $28/hour, based on experience
- 1st shift 7am - 4pm, Monday thru Thursday and 7am - 11am on Friday.
- Temp to Hire opportunity with the company.
Skills/Qualifications - 3 years' experience with CNC Mills or Lathes.
- Ability to use measuring gages and read blueprints.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Will be subject to a 10-panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening.
