Our client is a major aerospace manufacturer of small parts, nuts, and bolts. We are looking for smart and diligent CNC Operators to join our client's machine shop, located in Sylmar, CA.
Hours:
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
First Shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing the blueprints and schematics and entering the correct measurements.
Carefully loading the required materials into the machine.
Conducting a quality control check to ensure the item(s) comes out correctly.
Sending the finished product to the QC department for testing.
Working with QC on any problems that arise and adjust as necessary.
Performing routine maintenance checks on the CNC Machine, which can include cleaning and lubricating components.
Reporting any major issues to management and adhering to all safety protocols in the workshop.
Recording your progress, which includes the machine settings, the tool changes, and the production quantities that were used.
Other duties as assigned.
While some training will be provided, our client is looking for people with pre-existing CNC Operation experience.
