CNC Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring precision and efficiency in our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints
- Load materials into the machine and monitor the production process
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished product
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production and make necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet production goals

Skills:
- Proficient in operating CNC machines, including milling machines and press brake machines
- Strong knowledge of CAM programming and CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming
- Experience with tooling selection, setup, and maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

8 hour shift
