Adecco is currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to work 7 AM to 4 PM Monday thru Friday in East Providence, Rhode Island.

This position can be filled as either permanent direct hire (no temp period), or on a temp-to-hire basis depending on candidate experience and preference. Pay rate is TBD.

CNC Programmer / Machinist Responsibilities:
  • Use MasterCAM to read, interpret and design CNC programs accurately and efficiently, within specified time frames, to needed engineering specifications.
  • Create 3D models & 2D engineering drawings with computer aided software (SolidWorks); and build up BOM & specification sheet (Specs).
  • Troubleshoot and design injection molds for plastic injection, then use MasterCAM to design CNC programs for machining.
  • Modify / improve injection molds to eliminate malfunctions and obtain specified functional and operational performance.
  • Evaluate and confirm plastic molding (e.g. injection) & metal tooling process (e.g. progressive die) according to mechanical mold design principle.
  • Upload CNC programs into CNC machining center, set and adjust speeds and feeds, modify programs and CAD files as needed.
  • Fabricate holding fixtures as required for CNC operations.
  • Support to tool room staff and machine operators where needed.

CNC Programmer / Machinist Qualifications:
  • Proficient using MasterCAM to design CNC program files to accurately and efficiently machine parts / injection molds as needed.
  • Four plus years' experience as a CNC programmer / operator for multi-axis machining.
  • Proficient using SolidWorks CAD systems to design and create drawings.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to research, understand and implement new technologies for possible cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and present technical data, documents, information, and design specifications.
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a must.
  • Innovative thinking, always keeping up to date with technology.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
