CNC Operator

We have immediate openings for CNC operators in the Akron, Ohio area.
We have openings on first and second shift.
Starting pay is $16.00 to $24.00 an hour depending on experience.
Experience with CNC lathes and Mills is a huge plus.
Must be able to read part drawings.
Be able to determine the most efficient way to program and set up a part.
Have a basic knowledge of the machine language or software system being used to create a NC program.
Have a basic understanding of the control and machine they are running or programming for.
Know how to read and create a set up sheet and set the tooling for the part.
Know how to transfer programs from storage/transport media into the machine. Know how to down load programs from the control to storage/transfer media. Know how to get a program from and store a program to the central storage server. Fill out inspection reports.
Have a basic understanding of the language the control uses to program and be able to read a program and understand what the machine is going to do.
Make determinations of cutting conditions and use the manual feed overrides to optimize them.
Have an understanding of basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
Know which measuring tool to use.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $24.00 per hour
