Job Description
Summary Moeller Aerospace is looking for CNC candidates for our second shift (4:30 PM to 1:00-3:00 AM) with a passion for delivering perfect parts on time. Onboard acclamation will be on our first shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 - 4:30 PM) for 30-90 days. Moeller Aerospace is a clean, organized, well lit, temperature controlled, modern manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Operate CNC equipment as necessary to produce the required number of conforming parts in a timely manner according to process documentation. This will include operating multiple pieces of CNC equipment simultaneously.
- The ability to correctly setup jobs in assigned equipment in a timely manner is a plus, but not required.
- Perform first piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to process documentation.
- Perform data collection and communication tasks as directed in our eOVL.
- Perform operator maintenance (TPM).
- Diagnose and correct equipment or tool issues.
- Perform deburr or rework of work in-process.
- Make recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processes.
- Maintain workstation to 5S standards.
- Perform all work according to Company safety standards.

Requirements - Ability to use common measuring equipment, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Significant collaboration and communication skills related to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Blueprint reading skills to GD&T standards.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform basic shop math functions.
- Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to customer policies and practices.
- Regular lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for long periods of time in manufacturing environment. Twist, kneel, bend
Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent
We are seeking team players with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities. Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems, advanced quality assurance techniques, and/or aerospace work would be a definite asset.
Starting wages commensurate with experience, starting at $25-$30 per hour for those with the proper experience. Our Plant is a temperature-controlled environment.
