TITLE : CNC Machinist Programmer RETAINED SEARCH


ENVIRONMENT : Precision Machining (CNC, Lathes, Turning, Milling)


LOCATION: Hebron, NE (See Information Below)


REPORTS TO : Quality Manager


COMPENSATION RANGE : Competitive Compensation Package based on experience level(link removed)>


DEGREE REQUIREMENTS : High School Diploma, GED and some work experience. A formal degree would be a plus.


CITIZENSHIP : Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to work for any U.S. Employer


RELOCATION ALLOWANCE : Yes, if needed.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL :


Five 5-7+ years as a highly skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer, in a precision machine shop or related field.
Knows CNC programming and can troubleshoot and correct issues. This includes G-Code, Cad/Cam, possibly Mastercam, Fusion 360 and Esprit.
Knowledge of GD&T
Basic shop mathematics


ADVANTAGES TO HAVE: NDT Level 1 or Level II experience, ISO 9001


QUALITY EXPERIENCE : Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kazan, or 5S or similar quality programs would be a solid plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality component parts according to specifications.


Create programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.


Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure precise machining operations.


Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.


Conduct quality inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.


Collaborate with team members and engineering staff to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.



QUALIFICATIONS


Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
