We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This exciting role will provide you the opportunity to apply your expertise in CNC machinery and tooling, blueprint reading, and CNC setup. This is a key role that will greatly contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, and hands-on support to our CNC operations. You will also be instrumental in the design and implementation of new machining processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation on all aspects of CNC machining, including machine setup, tooling, and programming.
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate machining processes.
  • Design and implement new machining processes and techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide hands-on support to our CNC operations, including troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues.
  • Train and mentor junior machinists, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and optimize CNC machining processes.
  • Ensure all CNC operations comply with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling, and machining processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong experience in CNC setup, including machine calibration and programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior machinists.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A strong understanding of safety standards and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
  • A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, machining, or a related field is preferred.
