Job Details

Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.

Select and install appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for each job.

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production efficiency.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure they operate at peak performance.

Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify adherence to specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine and tooling issues as they arise.

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Swiss Machinist or similar role.
Proficiency in setting up and operating Swiss-style CNC machines.
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tool selection, and fixture setup.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Basic troubleshooting skills for machine and tooling issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Education and Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or certification in machining is preferred.
