CNC Machinist

Direct hire opening for a CNC Machinist. First and Second Shift Available.

1st Shift - 6 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift - 2:30 PM - 1 AM

This position is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of CNC and Manual Grinding Machines and for maintaining a clean, well-organized work area. Set up computer numerical control (CNC) machine to perform and produce precision metal components; perform grinding process as specified by work order, blueprints, drawing, templates or layout.
Responsibilities

Sets up CNC and Manual Grinding equipment to produce parts according to specifications.

Operate CNC machines efficiently and ensure product quality.

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.

Interpret technical drawings and program CNC machines using G-Code.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

3+ years of previous CNC and/or manual machine set-up and operation experience.

Training in CNC machine operations is preferred.

Experience using G-Code, Master CAM, and/or ESPRIT software is a plus.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of machining tools and equipment.

Understanding of safety protocols and practices.
