CNC Machinist

LanceSoft is hiring a CNC Machinist - Vane 2nd shift located in East Granby, CT.

Job Summary:

Duration of contract: Contract for 03+ months (Temp to Perm)

Expected hours per week: 40 hours a day.

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Onsite

Job Description:

Four (4) years or more in aerospace manufacturing environment

Three (3) years or more experience operating 4 Axis Grinding machine preferred.

Use test panels to check testing material (penetrant) per customer specifications.

Ability to set up and operate complex jobs with minimal supervision ensuring part conforms to specifications and requirements.

Make necessary modifications or adjustments.

Read and understand blueprints and operations sheets.

Ability to verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gages, height gages and verniers.

Follow all safety requirements regarding machine operation including proper guarding.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
