CNC Machinist level II and III
Contract to hire
Pay Range $26-$30 per hour
First Shift (6A-4:30) (50 hours/week)
Second Shift (5:30pm to 4am) (50 hours/week)
Weekend Shift (6A-6P) Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Aegis has partnered with a top-tier medical device manufacturing facility. We are looking to add 15+ new level II and III CNC machinists to our team. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in the industry. Ideal candidates for this role will have experience with both lathes and mills.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC machines to manufacture medical parts
- Read technical blueprints and designs
- Program CNC machines, inputting the design specifications and ensuring the machine performs as required
- Regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines
- Use precision tools like micrometers and calipers
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines
- Keep a detailed record of processes, tool usage, and production output
- Adhered to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborated with engineers or designers for custom jobs or to refine manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Three plus years Running CNC Machines.
- Experience working with small medical and/or medal piece's.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication
- Ability to work well in a team
- High level of manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- High school diploma or GED. Technical degree preferred.
