Job Details

Operate and perform intermediate set-ups, with minimal supervision, on mill or lathe machines. Inspect basic and intermediate features of aerospace and industrial system components, ensuring conformance to engineering requirements, specifications and special instruction.

1st Shift: 7am - 3pm - Shift: 2nd (3pm-11:30pm)

Essential Functions:
Operates and performs intermediate set-ups on various CNC machines for production of aerospace and industrial components.
Uses inspection equipment to complete in process inspection and first article reports.
Initiates non-conforming material rejection reports.
May assist in orienting and training of lower level employees.
Performs basic machine maintenance as required.
Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of two (2) or three (3) years of related experience in lieu of education.
Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude in the use of basic hand tools, and inspection equipment.
Ability to read and understand basic blueprint features and machine shop routers.
Ability to read and understand basic G and M code programming (CNC only).
Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast paced work environment.
Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
