CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

Position: CNC Machinist
Shift: 2nd Hours: 3PM - 11PM
Type: Full-Time Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Scale: $25hr Industry: Manufacturing

Company Overview:

Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist for their 2nd shift. Candidates with both Milling and Lathe experience are preferred, but not required.

Job Description:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including metal and plastic, and use various tools and equipment to complete your tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications

- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine settings as needed

- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy of parts

- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine operation or production

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist

- Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools

- Experience with CNC programming and G-code

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
