Spherion is looking for a highly motivated CNC Machinist/Operator for a well known manufacturing company in Bradenton, FL.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, set-up and operate CNC machines to perform several machining operations
such as turning, threading, milling, and drilling to produce quality parts with tight
tolerances.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, part drawings, tool layout and inspection sheets.
Able to complete setups, make tool wear offsets, change tools and load material bars.
Must have problem-solving ability to solve quality issues and machines/tools problems.
Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Set machines to complete full cycles and fabricate large number of parts.
Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Able to understand specifications, read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as Machinist/Operator.
Experience with CNC Swiss-Type machines is highly preferred.
