This position and person will need to be flexible as we grow and welcome more residents. We are looking for someone who is okay performing care for our residents one night, and attending to the front desk on other nights. When providing care, This is a broad-scoped caregiver position. The Resident Assistant has full responsibility for direct resident care. What you'll do: Assists resident with activities of daily living (ADL's) and all personal care skills (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting). Makes appropriate observations about the resident's condition in every interaction. Records and follows-up with changes in resident's condition in a timely manner. Assists residents with laundry and housekeeping services as needed. When supervising the front desk, you will watch for any visitors needing to get into the building, answer the phone after hours, and alert the appropriate parties of messages and needs. What you'll bring: Demonstrated experience in a caregiving role. Current CNA preferred. Great communication skills and the willingness to jump in to help.
